The Sunshine Collection was created for Summer 2010 because we had some new ideas which had come direct from our customers.  It was also a result of finding some wonderful silk dupion fabric which we all knew would make magnificent robes.

Like most women I have a towelling robe which I love, but, again like most women, I find it useful, not flattering. I have yet to see a woman who looks good in a cuddly fabric garment which is essentially a bag, tied in the middle.  One aim of this collection was to create robes which would be very luxurious but comfortable to wear and a design which would flatter as well as adapt to many different fabrics.

‘Sunrise’ is a stunning full length silk robe made in two colors. The main color is cranberry, in this case made by mixing threads of fuschia and orange in such a way that the fabric changes color as you move. The sleeves are wide and finished with tiny pleats while the back of the gown falls to a tiny regal train.  The same hot colors are used in the ‘sunrise’ nightgown, a new layered design made from silk georgette.

In each case the design can be made in a single color and in almost any shade you care to choose.
